This poster series explores memories depicted in photos taken throughout my life. Feelings associated with the memories are conveyed in the descriptive text and with the corresponding color. Cropped photographs obscure each memory-showing only specific parts of certain moments remembered.

Reminiscing about moments and places is preparing me for the start of a new chapter in my life. How do I classify and organize these memories for safekeeping? Memory is the process by which information is retained over time, consequently influencing future actions. This work explores memories, how they take form, and how they currently affect me. There is a rigid grid or pattern that categorizes some of the memories, whereas others float and become tangled up. Fonder memories surfaced in the recall of all of the good moments that have aided me thus far in life.
