What would you consider to be photorealistic? Would it be the illusion that something was photographed? Perhaps, photorealism is recognizing that something is not real but makes you feel like you could see yourself there. This work intends to break down all of the fundamentals of the notion of photorealism. As a digital artist, I am constantly battling with the uncanny valley. With this animation, I intend to break down the fundamentals of 3D photorealism to tackle the problem that this issue presents.

Everyone has a place they imagine. A paradise of the unknown. An area that they go to without even actually visiting it. A mirage of dreams. A high-class modern pool is the Eden that you can see yourself in. This should be welcoming and make whoever is watching want to be there.
