DeVos Art Museum: 

The museum will be closed 12/14/25-1/4/26.

The museum will return to regular hours beginning 1/5/26.

Studio Hours:

CLOSED

Studios will be closed beginning Thurs, 12/11/25, until the next semester (hours TBD).

The Bookkeeper will generally be available during these times.

However, there may be circumstances that cause a gap in availability. Please plan ahead and don't count on purchasing at the last minute.

Exhibits Provide Inspiration

The DeVos Art Museum is a wonderful resource attached to the building. Be certain to spend time in the museum and explore each of the exhibits during the semester, you never know what might inspire you.

Art Studio Hours

Studios*

Studios will be closed beginning Thurs, 12/11/25. The hours for the next semester will be determined at a later date.

 

Students are not permitted in the building studios outside of open times.

Only Students enrolled in courses utilizing specific studios or majors in art review courses will have access to those studios. Students will sign off on safety rules and policies for each studio and bring a studio access card with them. Safety sheets are available through course instructors and in the AD office. The AD office supplies studio access cards.

Studios will be non-accessible during class times, which are posted outside the studio doors.

*Studio hours are based on employee availability and, therefore, subject to change.

Parking

The best student parking is actually in the back of the building and requires a short walk to to the back entrance which provides access to the rest of the building. There is parking at the end of the lot in the front of the building past Spooner and Lee Hall.

  • DO NOT PARK in the DeVos Art Museum spaces directly n front of the building or you will receive a ticket.
  • DO NOT PARK in the Faculty Spaces that begin right after the building adjacent to Spooner Hall.

Appointments

The School of Art & Design schedules appointments through our main office, please call 906-227-2194 to make an appointment with our faculty. You can also simply drop by the faculty offices during open office hours posted on the faculty's door. If you're not sure who to see to get a question answered, then stop by the main office and see the Office Staff or the Director of the School.
