Physical Texture

Physical texture – Texture is tactile, it can be touched (usually a 3D form). Physical Texture is created through surface variation or the inherent properties of a material such as sand as opposed to porcelain.

Physical texture can be touched and felt, as opposed to apparent texture, which is a visual representation of texture.
